  The Idea An idea can change the world, or even cause a revolution! Little did François Savigny knew this when he invented the first climbing hold in 1985, and the first artificial climbing wall in 1990. Soon after, his passionate efforts took shape of an organization that is known today as EP Climbing climbing walls! Thanks to his idea & efforts 35 years ago, Sport Climbing has changed the lives of Millions of climbers around the world, by making climbing accessible to everyone. The success When you build a company with the mission of empowering others, success comes in handy! Since our inception, we have always stayed true to our motto - "Brings climbing to everyone". In the last 35 years, we have empowered climbers in more than 30 countries by providing cutting-edge climbing infrastructure, that are tailor-made by expert designers & engineers and manufactured in state-of-the-art manufacturing units with the highest precision and finishing. About the holds We use two materials for our climbing holds: Polyurethane: This material is both light and resistant to impact forces. We offer a different choice of colours including bright fluorescent ('fluo') ones. Polyester: This is a traditional resin used for climbing holds. The touch is dry and the holds are resistant to abrasion. We are currently producing our holds in Bulgaria. Our teams are also working on sustainability with R&D on new eco-friendly materials. About the macros Fiberglass Macros have always been present in EP Holds Range. Iconic shapes such as Wok, Taijitu, and Bubble have become a must-have standard. From local gyms to world Championships, Routesetters are always finding new ways of using them! Our fiberglass macros range has been growing so fast, that we had to create a new universe just for them. Our newest macros have been created to bring new and never seen before shapes. Dualtexture gives our macros a new visual aspect, and various grips which allow climbers to take advantage of the large grip surface. Made of 15 volumes, this range offers a wide variety of possibilities from size S to size XXL, with 1 meter diameter! Resistant thanks to high quality fiberglass material, they can be adjusted to any type of routesetting and levels. About the volumes Part of the production and selected volumes for the IFSC are from EPUSA They will allow you to create new moves and rethink the geometry of your walls in a simple and effective manner. The “Pharao” range is a set of plywood volumes that come in different geometric shapes. They can be easily assembled together to create more complex shapes. Each side has a different slope in increments of 10° increment. The bolt-on holds can be fixed on the surfaces of the volumes as there are numerous threaded inserts. Our wood volumes range, the Pharao Range, has been extended with new Pharaos : Isis, Gizeh, Hathor, and Seth. The two first are very small, they may most likely be used as holds. The two seconds are definitely big and are conceived for being used all together to create a crack, for example. The volumes are produced in our factory in Spain

• eXpression

  eXpression is a 20 years old company created by myself Simon Ravaz in 2003. We have also improved a lot our production processes as we have now 3 plants in 3 different continents producing our products all year long : Europe (mainly CompositeX), North America (Aragon) and Asia (Kastline). With this organization, our production capacity is now really big and the delays are short as we are delivering “locally”. We also have one of the biggest inventory worldwide (2500 fiberglass available in France, still expanding). We also have good quantities available in each factory.

  Flathold is a compagny created by Manuel Hassler and Mathieu Achermann. Manuel is an experimentated IFSC route setter and the indentity of the brand, product and innovation are closely connected with Manu's vision which is to create climbing holds and macros that serve a basic purpose: offer to the route setter some tools that inspire mouvements and which are easy to use. Flathold has more than 15 year of experience on the climbing market as well as in the competition circuit. The compagny is a partner of the IFSC as well as USA Climbing since many years and is probably one of the most popular brand in termes of competiton experiences.

  Grizzly Holds is a Canadian-based company that has been making waves in the climbing industry since it was founded by Tomasz Wojtkowiak and Anthony Richard. While we are based in Canada, our manufacturing is outsourced to Aragon Elastomers in Colorado, USA. This guarantees that our climbing holds are made from industry-standard plastic, ensuring their durability and reliability. At Grizzly Holds, our vision is to inspire routesetters by creating high-quality climbing holds that are designed with a focus on ergonomics, creativity, compatibility, and aesthetics. Our goal is to provide climbers with a memorable and positive climbing experience, whether they are novices taking their first steps on the wall or seasoned veterans of the World Cup circuit. We believe that every climb should be challenging, but also fun and engaging, and our holds are designed with this philosophy in mind.   Cheeta is recognized as one of the leading brands in climbing hold industry. Our well-known suppliers can produce in large quantity and always with high-quality standards. Thanks to our network of 26 distributors spread out over 5 continents and our agreements with wall manufacturers, our products are available fast and all over the world. All our holds are made of PU or a combination of PU and wood to facilitate the mounting of screw-ons. This also allows to replace the wood plates, giving a longer life to the holds and reduce plastic consumption. Our fiberglass and wood products are produced in different places to have enough capacity and create short distribution channels.

• Kilter

  Kilter Grips is an award-winning climbing hold and climbing board brand from Boulder, Colorado. Kilter designs series of holds meant to work together to create a good look on the wall while being good tools for setters to create specific movement and quickly and easily tweak climbs for different difficulties or categories, including the Kilter Complex series holds which stack together with holds and volumes and can be easily adjusted to fit specific difficulty and hold type needs. Kilter are designed by Head Designer Ian Powell and a team of shapers including Urban Plastix Head Designer Peter Juhl and professional climbers and routesetters including Jimmy Webb and Jeremy Ho. Ian Powell is a fine art sculptor and climber who has been making climbing holds for over 30 years. He competed for Team USA in a few World Cups the early 90s. Ian is widely regarded as one of the best climbing hold designers in the world. Kilter's other shapers all work with Ian to create a variety of styles while making sure all of Kilter's shapes are well designed and meet the high quality standard that Kilter believes in. Kilter Grips are produced in high quality polyurethane in the world's two best urethane climbing hold factories -- Aragon in the USA and Composite-X (Dannomond) in Bulgaria. Both of these factories have proprietary PU blends that are well respected in the industry, and the colors and color matching between these factories has created the basis for an industry standard color scheme. Kilter's employees are all longtime climbers and all have been commercial and competition routesetters. Kilter also has a special test space where other setters can visit and test holds, and where Kilter's designers and staff can test new holds, designs, and ideas. This has resulted in years of Climbing Business Journal All Time Favorite and Best Holds awards. Kilter Grips won Best Holds in the inaugural Grips List awards in 2014 and has subsequently won every year from 2016-present day. Kilter also has won All Time Favorite Hold Brand for the past 5 years and People's Choice in 2021 and 2022. The Kilter Board has won Best Board both years since that award was launched in 2021. Kilter Grips were included in the Tokyo 2020 catalogue and used on the Olympic stage. Kilter has been and IFSC Partner Brand since 2019 and Kilter also partners with competitions including IFSC World Cups and Pro Comps and teams including the Austrian Climbing Team.   Rockcity Climbing Holds is one of the oldest brands in the U.K. thanks to our climbing gym, opened in September 1994. back then we had to make our own holds and walls as our industry was not even really a thing. We have always been interested in what we could make and how it could be achieved. We then started another climbing hold brand 'S7' in the late 1990's with Ben Moon. Fast Forward to 2023 and we have almost 30 years of innovation behind us. Watching and learning as our sport grew we now are able to make some interesting things and continue to push everything forward. Rockcity has been in the OSE catalogue since its inception in 2019 and today we are ranked in Group 1, for all three materials. We were also a T20 supplier for the Tokyo Olympic Games and have been used considerably in most of the World Cup and Championship events in 2019, 2021, 2022 and will continue in this 2023 season. Fibreglass Macros - In quite a short space of time we became good at making unique shapes using more gloss and less texture than most. More importantly we spent a lot of time, making most of the hold impossible to use. This is difficult to manufacture but is essential to the success of our really low profile 'no edge' on the shiny part, whilst maintaining simple and featureless shapes that are designed to make reading the hold very difficult. Plywood Volumes - Rockcity has a very wide range of competition specific plywood volumes. Some ultra low profile that suit less steep angles and some that are roof specific for Lead competitions. All shapes have been used and tested extensively in many World Cups and World Championships in 2021, 2022 and 2023. We are able to produce dual texture sections that are complicated in shape to create new ways to mix up the experience and aesthetic. Polyurethane Climbing Holds - Our final frontier. Rockcity has made a lot of climbing holds for general climbing gym use. Having recently worked to create a mixed media of 'real rock' styles with modern route setting we set out to make 'Gritstone' and 'Fontainebleau' ultra realistic holds that were shaped by route setters and high performing climbers to finally make old school, the new school! Fontainebleau of course being only some 50km form the Paris Olympic venue it's a commentator's 'go to filler' to talk about, as well as being the most technical holds that nature offers. Then finally we have our dual texture, modern, simple continuation of our 'Basics' family and macro range. All of our famous GRP is now available as micro screw-ons, finger holds and smaller shapes to compliment the full range and complete our offer. These holds are screw-on only, even up to 30cm in size, a very non commercial decision to make the purest competition specification dual texture holds for the highest level. These continue to debut across the 2023 World Cup season, finishing off our first four years of World Cup specific equipment.

The brand decided to join forces with Schlamberger in 2015 when we successfully relounched it. It is today an essential part of the route setters bucket for competitions and creative route setting which we are very proud of. All the GRP products and wooden products are produced inhouse Schlamberger in Slovenia and the production of the PU line is being carried out for us by Aragon Elastomers in the USA.

  Back in 2009 the classic combination between an artist, Iliyan Mihaylov, and an entrepreneur, Daniel Dudev, laid the foundations of XCULT Ltd. as an independent producer of climbing holds, volumes and walls. Each set of holds and volumes produced by XCULT is shaped by Iliyan - a climber, graduated sculptor, artist and innovator. Truly inspired by climbing, he has been shaping climbing holds and volumes for more than 25 years. With a factory based in Bulgaria, XCULT became one of the biggest producers of fiberglass volumes initially producing only for themselves and later started producing for a few other leading brands. Among XCULT‘s most innovative and popular products are the “ClosedCell” fiberglass volumes which quickly became climber‘s favorite for their aesthetic look, lightness, durability and perfect friction as well as the Evolution fiberglass sets which grabbed the attention of climbers and routesetters with their unique concept, interesting design and dual texture.
